A Statement for Those That Contribute
Michael and Jan want all contributors to fully understand their privileges as someone who invests in the work of evangelism that the Lord has assigned all believers to do to the end of their active lives.
Michael and Jan want all to feel the heartbeat with which their ministry operates. They believe that the better they inform people, the more they will pray, and the more strongly they will believe it’s their ministry too!
They strongly believe in transparency and openness related to finances. It is their conviction that they should be faithful stewards of all that God gives them and to use it for His glory alone.
They pledge they will always be accountable to all who contribute.
Let them provide you with a brief overview:
- Michael and Jan Gotts’ personal salary together is about the same as one public school teacher in Texas with a master’s degree and twenty years’ experience.
- Efforts are made to operate totally debt free so that no funds are consumed on debt retirement or credit card interest charges.
- The resources shared with them are never used for the personal salary of Michael and Jan Gott. All gifts are placed in “the ministry account” and used exclusively for evangelism and the sharing of Christ with the world-at-large.
- Upon the conclusion of the evangelistic ministry of Michael and Jan Gott or at life’s end, all funds left over must be given away to Christian causes and are not in the personal estate of Michael and Jan Gott.
- Long range plans include the funding of a “chair of evangelism” to be set up in some strongly conservative seminary.
